قُلۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسۡتَمَعَ نَفَرٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا قُرۡءَانًا عَجَبٗا ١
Say, [O Muḥammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur’ān [i.e., recitation].
An Nulaaɗo, maakan mofte maa ɗen: Allah wahayinii e am, wonnde dental jinna heɗitike lam Baṭnu Nakhlah, miɗo jannga Alqur'aanaa. Nde ɗi ruttinoo ka jamaa majji, ɗi wi'ani ɗin : Menen men nani konngol hino janngee, haawniingol e ɓannginol e laaɓugol mun.
72:2Page 572
يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشۡدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ وَلَن نُّشۡرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدٗا ٢
It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.
Ngol konngol ngol men nani, hino fewnira e peewal ka fiɓnde, e ka konngol e ka kuugal. Men gomɗinii nde. Men kafidataa e Joomi amen jippinɗo nde On, hay e gooto.
72:3Page 572
وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا ٣
And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son
Men gomɗinirii Mo, tawde manngural Joomi amen ngal toowii, O siforaali jogitagol ɓeyngu, wanaa ɓiɗɗo.
72:4Page 572
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطٗا ٤
And that our foolish one [i.e., Iblees]1 has been saying about Allāh an excessive transgression.
E wonnde Ibuliisa hino wowlaynoo peenale e hoore Allah, ɓe dammba genndo ɓiɗɗo e Makko.
72:5Page 572
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلۡإِنسُ وَٱلۡجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا ٥
And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allāh a lie.
Menen men sikkuo wonnde sirkooɓe yimɓe e jinna ɓen wonah fenaande wowlunoo, fewndo ɓe aaƴinoo wonnde Allah no jogitii genndo e ɓiɗɗo. Men goongini ɓe men jokki ɓe.
72:6Page 572
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمۡ رَهَقٗا ٦
And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden [i.e., sin].
Hari ado islaamu, worɓe yimɓe goo hino mooloraynoo worɓe jinna goo, tuma kala ɓe hewti e nokku hulɓiniiɗo, nanaa hiɓe wi'a: mi moolorii koohoojo ndee aynde, immorde e bone ɗaytuɓe yimɓe mun ɓen. Worɓe yimɓe ɓen ɓeydii hulugol ɗeƴnoo worɓe jinna ɓen.
72:7Page 572
وَأَنَّهُمۡ ظَنُّواْ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن يَبۡعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٗا ٧
And they had thought, as you thought, that Allāh would never send anyone [as a messenger].
Yimɓe ɓen sikkir no sikkirɗon non onon jinnaaji ɗin, wonnde Allah immintintaa hay gooto fii ñaaweede yoɓitee, ɓaawo maayde mun.
72:8Page 572
وَأَنَّا لَمَسۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدۡنَٰهَا مُلِئَتۡ حَرَسٗا شَدِيدٗا وَشُهُبٗا ٨
And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.
Men tefuno fii kammu ngun, men tawi hingu hebbiniraa Malaa'ka aynooɓe tiiɗuɓe, ko ayna ko men heɗitotonoo kon. Ngu hebbiniraa kadi yiite ko fiɗiree kala ɓadiiɗo ngu.
72:9Page 572
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقۡعُدُ مِنۡهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمۡعِۖ فَمَن يَسۡتَمِعِ ٱلۡأٓنَ يَجِدۡ لَهُۥ شِهَابٗا رَّصَدٗا ٩
And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing,1 but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.
Hari meɗen jooɗotonoo ka kammu ton fii heɗagol ko Malaa'ika'en wowlata, men heɓa ko men humpita ndureeɓe leydi ndin, kono ɗum wayiima. Kala heɗitiiɗo e amen jooni, o hawray e docotal yiite, no o ɓadori, ngal sunna mo.
72:10Page 572
وَأَنَّا لَا نَدۡرِيٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ أَرَادَ بِهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ رَشَدٗا ١٠
And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.
E wonnde men anndaa sabu ngol aygnugol kammu ngun. Hara ko bone faandoraa yimɓe leydi ndin? Kaa hara Allah faandani ɓe moƴƴere. Kumpite kammu ngun majjitorike men.
72:11Page 572
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدٗا ١١
And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.1
E wonnde menen jinnaaji ɗin, hino e amen gomɗuɗi ɗigguɗi, hino e amen kadi keeferi naafiqiiji. Hari ko men nooneeji seertuɗi.
72:12Page 572
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعۡجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَن نُّعۡجِزَهُۥ هَرَبٗا ١٢
And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allāh upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.
E wonnde men yanano men laawotaako Allah seniiɗo On, si O faandanike men huunde, ko non kadi men laawortaa Mo dogugol, tawde Himo huɓindii men.
72:13Page 572
وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعۡنَا ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ فَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخۡسٗا وَلَا رَهَقٗا ١٣
And when we heard the guidance [i.e., the Qur’ān], we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.1
E wonnde nde men nanunoo Alqur'aana fewnaynde nden, men gomɗinno nde. Kala gomɗinɗo Joomi mun, on hulataa ɗuytaneede moƴƴi mun, maa ɓeydaneede bonɗi goo e hoore adinooɗi.
72:14Page 573
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلۡمُسۡلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنۡ أَسۡلَمَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوۡاْ رَشَدٗا ١٤
And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allāh], and among us are the unjust.1 And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.
E wonnde hino e amen julɗuɗi jebbiliranii Allah ɗoftagol Mo, hino e amen kadi ooñiiɗi seli goonga e ñiiɓal. Kala non jebbiliranii ngii Allah ɗoftagol golla ko moƴƴi, ko ɗin woni faandiiɗi peewal e sawaaba.
72:15Page 573
وَأَمَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُواْ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبٗا ١٥
But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'
Ooñiiɗi e laawol goonga e ñiiɓal ɗin kan, ɗi laatanike Jahannama on carmalle huɓɓinirɗe nge, kannji e yimɓe nannduɓe e majji.
72:16Page 573
وَأَلَّوِ ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقٗا ١٦
And [Allāh revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant rain [i.e., provision]
Ko wano wahayiniraa non e makko fii dental jinna heɗinooɗi Alqur'aana ɗin, ko non kadi wahayiniraa e makko wonnde si jinna e yimɓe ñiiɓuno e laawol Islaamu ngol, ɓe gollitiri ko woni e mun kon, ko pellet, Allah yeɗayno ɓe ndiyam ɗuuɗuɗam, O neeminira ɓe kadi ko seertuɗi.
72:17Page 573
لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعۡرِضۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسۡلُكۡهُ عَذَابٗا صَعَدٗا ١٧
So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord1 He will put into arduous punishment.
Fii no Men ndaarndora ɓe ɗam si ɓe yettay neema Allah on kaa hara ɓe yedday mo? Kala ɗuurniiɗo Alqur'aana e waajuuji ko woni kon e mayre, Joomi makko naadoyay mo e lette sattuɗe ɗe o townoytaa.
72:18Page 573
وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدۡعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٗا ١٨
And [He revealed] that the masjids1 are for Allāh, so do not invoke2 with Allāh anyone.
E wonnde juulirɗe ɗen ko Allah tun heeranii. Wata on rewidu e Allah ton hay e gooto, haa wa'on wa Alyahuuda e Annasaara'en ka cuuɗi dewe maɓɓe.
72:19Page 573
وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدۡعُوهُ كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِ لِبَدٗا ١٩
And that when the Servant [i.e., Prophet] of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."1
E wonnde tuma Muhammadu jeyaaɗo Allah (yo o his) darinoo himo rewa Joomi makko ka wi'etee : "Baṭnu Nakhlah", jinnaaji ɗin eɓɓuno fawondirgol e hoore makko, hakkee ɓiƴondiro fii heɗagol himo jannga Alqur'aana.
72:20Page 573
قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي وَلَآ أُشۡرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدٗا ٢٠
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."
An Nulaaɗo, maakan ɓee sirkooɓe : Anndee ko Joomi am tun min mi rewata, mi kafidataa Mo e goɗɗum goo no wa'i woo.
72:21Page 573
قُلۡ إِنِّي لَآ أَمۡلِكُ لَكُمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا رَشَدٗا ٢١
Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."
Maakan ɓe : min on mi waawanaa on duñogol lorra mo Allah hoddirani on, wanaa fii pooɗugol nafa mo Allah ɗawi on.
72:22Page 573
قُلۡ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٞ وَلَنۡ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلۡتَحَدًا ٢٢
Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allāh anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.
Maakan ɓe : Hay gooto waawaa daɗndude lam e Allah si mi yeddii Mo; mi heɓataa kadi ko woori Mo ƴooñorde ka mi moolotoo.
72:23Page 573
إِلَّا بَلَٰغٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ٢٣
But [I have for you] only notification from Allāh, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever.
Ko mi waawani on, ko yottingol ko Allah nulin mi kon e mon, e nule Makko ɗe O imminirimmi ɗen e mon. Kala yedduɗo Allah e Nulaaɗo Makko on, hara depporde makko nden ko ka Yiite Jahannama, o lutta e magge, o yaltataa poomaa.
72:24Page 573
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَضۡعَفُ نَاصِرٗا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدٗا ٢٤
[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.
Heeferɓe ɓen heddoray non e yeddugol haa si ɓe yi'oyii lette ɗe ɓe kammbirananoo ɗen aduna, ontuma ɓe anndoyto ko hombo ɓuri lo'ude ballo, ɓuri kadi fanɗude wallooɓe.
72:25Page 573
قُلۡ إِنۡ أَدۡرِيٓ أَقَرِيبٞ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمۡ يَجۡعَلُ لَهُۥ رَبِّيٓ أَمَدًا ٢٥
Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period."
An Nulaaɗo, maakan ɓee sirkooɓe yedduɓe fii ummital : mi anndaa si tawii lette ɗe kammbiranaɗon ɗen hino ɓadii, maa si tawii ɗe happanaa lajal ngal Allah tun anndii fii mun.
72:26Page 573
عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَلَا يُظۡهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيۡبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا ٢٦
[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone
Kanko seniiɗo On ko O annduɗo wirniiɗi ɗin fow. Huunde e ɗum wirnanaaki Mo. O ƴellintinantaa wirniiɗi Makko ɗin e hay e gooto. Ko Kanko tun heertorii ko O anndi fii mun kon.
72:27Page 573
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٖ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسۡلُكُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ رَصَدٗا ٢٧
Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before him [i.e., each messenger] and behind him observers1
Si wanaa mo Allah suɓii e Nulaaɗo, O ƴellintinay on ɗon ko O muuyi woo, O immina Malaa'ikaaɓe reenooɓe yeeso on Nulaaɗo ko ayna mo, fii wata mo wanaa Nulaaɗo ƴellito e ɗum.
72:28Page 573
لِّيَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ أَبۡلَغُواْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ وَأَحۡصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عَدَدَۢا ٢٨
That he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] may know1 that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number.
Fii yo Nulaaɗo on anndu wonnde imminaaɓe ɓen ko adii mbo ɓe yottinii Nule Joomi mun ɗin, tawde Allah no huɓindori ko woni ka Malaa'ika e Nulaaɓe fow e mun ganndal. Huunde wirnaaki Mo fii maɓɓe. Himo mofti limoore kala huunde. Hay huunde suuɗaaki Seniiɗo On.
