Yunus 10:102–109

فَهَلۡ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثۡلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ قُلۡ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ ١٠٢
So do they wait except for like [what occurred in] the days of those who passed on before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نُنجِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ١٠٣
Then We will save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers.1

قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن دِينِي فَلَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۖ وَأُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ١٠٤
Say, [O Muḥammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allāh; but I worship Allāh, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers

وَأَنۡ أَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ١٠٥
And [commanded], 'Direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allāh;
قَوْلُهُ تَعالى: ﴿وَأنْ أقِمْ وجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ﴾ .
أوْضَحَ هَذا المَعْنى في قَوْلِهِ: ﴿فَأقِمْ وجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النّاسَ عَلَيْها﴾ .
10:106Page 220
وَلَا تَدۡعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَۖ فَإِن فَعَلۡتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذٗا مِّنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ١٠٦
And do not invoke1 besides Allāh that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'"2
قَوْلُهُ تَعالى: ﴿وَلا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ ما لا يَنْفَعُكَ ولا يَضُرُّكَ﴾ .
أوْضَحَ مَعْناهُ أيْضًا بِقَوْلِهِ: ﴿وَلا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إلَهًا آخَرَ لا إلَهَ إلّا هو كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هالِكٌ إلّا وجْهَهُ لَهُ الحُكْمُ وإلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴾ .
10:107Page 221
وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرّٖ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يُرِدۡكَ بِخَيۡرٖ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضۡلِهِۦۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٠٧
And if Allāh should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهۡتَدِي لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡهَاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيۡكُم بِوَكِيلٖ ١٠٨
Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."

10:109Page 221
وَٱتَّبِعۡ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡكَ وَٱصۡبِرۡ حَتَّىٰ يَحۡكُمَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ ١٠٩
And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and be patient until Allāh will judge. And He is the best of judges.
قَوْلُهُ تَعالى: ﴿واصْبِرْ حَتّى يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ وهو خَيْرُ الحاكِمِينَ﴾ .
لَمْ يُبَيِّنْ هُنا ما حَكَمَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَيْنَ نَبِيِّهِ وبَيْنَ أعْدائِهِ، وقَدْ بَيَّنَ في آياتٍ كَثِيرَةٍ أنَّهُ حَكَمَ بِنَصْرِهِ عَلَيْهِمْ، وإظْهارِ دِينِهِ عَلى كُلِّ (p-١٦٤)دِينٍ،
• كَقَوْلِهِ: ﴿إذا جاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ والفَتْحُ﴾ [النصر: ١] إلى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ،
• وقَوْلِهِ: ﴿إنّا فَتَحْنا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُبِينًا﴾ [الفتح: ١] إلى آخِرِها،
• وقَوْلِهِ: ﴿أوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أنّا نَأْتِي الأرْضَ نَنْقُصُها مِن أطْرافِها واللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ﴾ الآيَةَ [الرعد: ٤١] .
