الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانٖ مُّبِينٖ ١
Alif, Lām, Rā.1 These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur’ān [i.e., recitation].
Alif, laam, raa: yewtere fii sugu ɗee Aayeeje yawtiino ka arannde cortewol(simoore) Baqarah. Ɗee Aayeeje ko mawnuɗe fiyaaku, tinndinɗe wonnde ko ɗe jippiniaaɗe ka Alla, Aayeeje Alqur'aana ɓannginɗe tawhiidi e sari'aaji.
15:2Page 262
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ ٢
Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish1 that they had been Muslims.
Heeferɓe ɓen yeloyto Ñalnde Darngal, tuma feeñanta ɓe meere keeferaaku ngu ɓe wonunoo e mun aduna, sinno ɓe laatino juulɓe.
15:3Page 262
ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٣
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.
An Nulaaɗo, accu ɓee fennooɓe ñaamira no neemoraaɗi ñaamirta, ɓe dakmitora dakamme aduna lannayɗe, ɓe sokolira juutingol caate gaa gomɗinal e golle moƴƴe. Aray ɓe annda ko ɓe wonunoo e hayrere kon, tuma ɓe darnoyaa yeeso Alla Ñalnde Darngal.
15:4Page 262
وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ ٤
And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.
Men jippinaali halkaare e saare jeyaande e tooñunde, si wanaa hara no woodani nde lajal dot-tangal anndaangal ka Alla, ngal ɓeydotaako ngal ɗuytotaako.
15:5Page 262
مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ ٥
No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.
Mofte woo halketaake ado lajal majje timmude, ɗe nennantaake ɗum kadi si hewtii. Haani hara tooñooɓe ɓen ɗaynitoraali ko Alla nennitirani ɓe kon.
15:6Page 262
وَقَالُواْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ ٦
And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.1
Heeferɓe makka ɓen wi'ani Nulaaɗo Alla on (yo o his): Ko an yo nodditiiɗo jippineede e mun (Deftere nden), pellet aan e noddugol maa ko a kaangaaɗo haɗa firlito pirlitagol feetuɗo.
15:7Page 262
لَّوۡمَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ٧
Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"
Ko haɗ Ma addande amen Malaykaaji ɗi ceedo wonde ko a goonɗuɗo e nelal ma he e tellagol lepte.
15:8Page 262
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ ٨
We do not send down the angels except with truth;1 and they [i.e., the disbelievers] would not then be reprieved.
Alla jaaborii ƴamol maɓɓe addugol Malaa'ika ngol: Men jippinirtaa Malaa'ika si wanaa ko yahdata e ñeenñal, tuma hewti halkirgol ɓe lepte. Ɓe wonoy- tah, tuma Men addoyta Malaa'ika, hara ɓe gomɗi- naali, leelnoyteeɓe, ko woni, ɓe yacciniroyte lepte ɗen.
15:9Page 262
إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ ٩
Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [i.e., the Qur’ān], and indeed, We will be its guardian.
Ko Menen woni ko jippini ndee Alqur'aanaare e fonndo Muhammadu (jom-kisiyee) siftinore yimɓe ɓen. Menen kadi ko Men reenooɓe nde e ɓeydee- de maa ɗuyteede, maa walylee, waɗtitee.
15:10Page 262
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ١٠
And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muḥammad], among the sects of the former peoples.
Gomɗii Men nuliino ado maa an Nulaaɗo, Nulaaɓe goo, e leñi yeddunooɓe ko adii, ɓe fenni ɓe. Wanaa an adaa fenneede e Nulaaɓe ɓen.
15:11Page 262
وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ١١
And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.
Nulaaɗo woo araali e ɗen mofte heeferɓe adinooɓe, si wanaa ɓe fennay mo ɓe jalkita.
15:12Page 262
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ ١٢
Thus do We insert it [i.e., denial] into the hearts of the criminals.
Ko wano Men naadirnoo fennugol ngol e ɓerɗe ɗen mofte, Men naadirta ɗum e ɓerɗe sirkooɓe Makka ɓen, sabu ɗuurnagol ɓe townitoo ngol.
15:13Page 262
لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ١٣
They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.
Ɓe gomɗintaa ndee Alqur'aanaare jippinaande e Muhammadu (yo o his), gomɗii sunna Alla on e halkugol fennuɓe Nulaaɓe mun ɓen yawtiino. Yo fennooɓe ma ɓen waajito.
15:14Page 262
وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ ١٤
And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend,
Ɓee fennooɓe townitiiɓe, hay goonga kan feeñirani ɓe hujjaaji ɓannguɗi, hay Men udditanno ɓe damal ka kammu, ɓe waɗti ƴawrude.
15:15Page 262
لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ ١٥
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
Ɓe goongintaano, ɓe wi'ayno : Anndee gite amen ɗen hippa e yi'ugol. Wurin ko men yi'aynoo ko batte mbilewu, ko men mbilaa ɓe.
15:16Page 263
وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ ١٦
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.
Gomɗii men waɗii koode mawɗe ka kammu, ɗe yimɓe ɓen ɗoworta e ɗalle maɓɓe, ka niɓe njorndi e ka maayo. Men waɗaniri-ɗe ɓen ndaarooɓe ɗe fii yo ɓe dallinorɗe e kattal Alla ngal.
15:17Page 263
وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ ١٧
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allāh]
Men reeniri kammu ngun e kala seytaane riiwaaɗo e yurmeende Alla.
15:18Page 263
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ ١٨
Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.
Si wanaa on heɗitaniiɗo majannde dental ngal, hoodere jalbunde jokkita ngii, nde sumaa ngii.
15:19Page 263
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ ١٩
And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing.
Leydi ndin, Men weerti ndi ka yimɓe ɓen daakoo, Men waɗi e mayri pelle tabituɗe fii wata ndi yergu e maɓɓe. Men fuɗini e mayri noone kala e puɗi, kon ko eɓɓaa happiraa hikma.
15:20Page 263
وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ ٢٠
And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.1
Men waɗani on ka leydi ton, onon yimɓe ɓen, ko wuuriron, immorde e ñaametee e njaram, fotde hiɗon e nguurndam aduna. Men waɗani ɓen ɓe on arsikataa ka yimɓe e ka kulle kadi ko ɓe wuurira.
15:21Page 263
وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ ٢١
And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known [i.e., specified] measure.
Hunnde alaa nde yimɓe e daabeeji ɗin nafitorta, si wanaa Meɗen hattani woodingol nde ko ɓe nafitora. Men woodinaali kadi e nden huunde, si wanaa e eɓɓoore happaande yahdunde e ñenƴal e muyɗe Amen.
15:22Page 263
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ ٢٢
And We have sent the fertilizing winds1 and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.
Men wurti keneeli ɗin hawrondirooji e duule; Men jippiniri ɗen duule toɓo, Men yarniri on ndiyam toɓo. Wonaa onon ɓee yimɓe woni ko mari ɗam ndiyam ka leydi, fii ko wona ɓulli e canɗi, ko Alla woni ko mari ɗam ton.
15:23Page 263
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ ٢٣
And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.1
Ko Menen kadi woni wuurnitirooɓe maayɓe tagu- gol e waaseede, immintinoya ɓe ɓaawo maayde, Men wuurnita kadi maayɓe si laje maɓɓe timmii. Ko Menen woni heddotooɓe rona leydi ndin e ko woni e mayri.
15:24Page 263
وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ ٢٤
And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].
Gomɗii Men anndii adiiɓe mon jibineede e maa-yooɓe, Men anndii kadi sakkitotooɓe e mun. Hunnde e ɗum suuɗaaki Men.
15:25Page 263
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ ٢٥
And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.
Pellet, Joomi maa an Nulaaɗo, ko Kanko mooɓoy- ta ɓe denndaangal Ñalnde Darngal, fii yo O yoɓu moƴƴinɗo on e bonnuɗo on. Kanko ko O Ñeeñuɗo e toppitagol Mo ngol, Annduɗo Mo huunde suuɗaaki ɗum.
15:26Page 263
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ٢٦
And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.
Gomɗii Men tagirii Aadama e mbullaari yoorundi waɗayndi hito si tappaama, ndin ko ɓaleeri waylorndi sabu neeɓugol waalagol ndi.
15:27Page 263
وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ ٢٧
And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.
Men tagiri baaba jinnaaji ɗin ko adii tageede Aadama (yo o his) e yiite ooyunge.
15:28Page 263
وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ٢٨
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.
Janto an Nulaaɗo, tuma nde Joomi maa dalannoo Malaa'ika'en e Ibuliisa wonndunooɗo e maɓɓe: Min Mi tagay ɓanndinke immorde e loopal yooru- yongal, waɗayngal hito si tappaama, ɓalewal waylotoongal balangol.
15:29Page 263
فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ ٢٩
And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul,1 then fall down to him in prostration."
Si Mi fotndindirii mo, Mi timminii tagugol mo, haray ko yo on suuyiran mo ɗoftagol yamiroore Am e hiwraade mo.
15:30Page 263
فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ ٣٠
So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,
Malaa'ika'en ɗoftii yamiroore Joomi maɓɓe, ɓe sujji ɓe fow maɓɓe.
15:31Page 263
إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ ٣١
Except Iblees;1 he refused to be with those who prostrated.
Ibuliisa kan -wonndunooɗo e Malaa'ika'en kono mo jeyaaka e maɓɓe- haɗitii sujjanngol Aadama wonndude e Malaa'ika'en.
15:32Page 264
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ ٣٢
[Allāh] said, "O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"
Alla daalani Ibuliisa ɓaawo o haɗitaade sujjangol Aadama: E ko haɗu maa sujjidugol e Malaa'ika'en ɓen sujjirɓe ɗoftagol yamiroore Am?
15:33Page 264
قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ٣٣
He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."
Ibuliisa jaabori townitaare: Sellantaa lam ka mi sujjanta ɓanndinke mo Taguɗaa immorde e loopal yoorungal, ɓalewal waylotongal.
15:34Page 264
قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ ٣٤
[Allāh] said, "Then depart from it,1 for indeed, you are expelled.
Alla daalani ibuliisa: Yaltu ka Aljanna, sabu ko a riiwaaɗo.
15:35Page 264
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٣٥
And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."
Pellet, kuddi e riiweede e yurmeende Am fawike e ma haa Ñalnde Darngal.
15:36Page 264
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ ٣٦
He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
Ibuliisa wi'i: Joomi am, nennitanam hara A waraa-ni lam haa ñande tagu gun immintinoytee.
15:37Page 264
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ ٣٧
[Allāh] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved
Alla daalani mo: An on, ko a jeyaaɗo e nennitanaaɓe laje mun ɓen.
Haa e ñalaande nde fow maayata nden si allaadu ndun wuttaama araunuru.
15:39Page 264
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٣٩
[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them [i.e., mankind] on earth, and I will mislead them all
Ibuliisa wi'i: Joomi am, sabu ko majjinirɗaa mi kon, ma mi labinan ɓe geddi ɗin ka leydi, ma mi majjin ɓe fow maɓɓe e laawol focciingol ngol.
Si wanaa ɓen ɓe suɓiɗaa e jeyaaɓe Maa fii ko rewa Maa.
15:41Page 264
قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ ٤١
[Allāh] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight.
Alla daali: Ngol ko laawol fotondirngol, hewtinayngol ka Am.
15:42Page 264
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ ٤٢
Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.
Pellet, jeyaaɓe Am laɓɓinaaɓe ɓen, a alanaaɓe ɓen kattal, a hippataa kadi bewnugol ɓe, si wanaa ɓen jokkuɓe ma e majjuɓe ɓen.
15:43Page 264
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٤٣
And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all.
Pellet Jahannama wonii fodoore Ibuliisa e ɓen jokkuɓe mo e majjuɓe ɓen fow.
15:44Page 264
لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبٖ لِّكُلِّ بَابٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٞ مَّقۡسُومٌ ٤٤
It has seven gates; for every gate is of them [i.e., Satan's followers] a portion designated."
Jahannama no mari dame jeeɗiɗi ka ɓe naatirta, damal kala e majje no heertinanaa jokkuɓe Ibuliisa ɓen ka naadiree.
15:45Page 264
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ ٤٥
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs,
Pellet, huluɓe Joomi mun ɓen, ɓe ɗoftii yamirooje Makko ɓe woɗɗitii e haɗaaɗi Makko, ɓen wonii e aljannaaji e ɓulli.
15:46Page 264
ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ ٤٦
[Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."
Ɓe wi'anoyte tuma ɓe naatata: Naatiree ɗi hisugol e kala ñawu, daɗooɓe e kala kulol.
15:47Page 264
وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ ٤٧
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment,1 [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.
Men itti kala ko woni e ɓerɗe maɓɓe immorde e konnaagu e ngayngu. Ɓe wonti musiɗɓe yiɗindirɓe, jooɗodayɓe e ndaɗɗule hiɓe ndaarindira.
15:48Page 264
لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ ٤٨
No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
Tampere heɓataa ɓe ton, ɓe wonaa kadi yaltintee ɓe ton. Ko ɓe duumotooɓe nder ton.
15:49Page 264
۞ نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٤٩
[O Muḥammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful,
An Nulaaɗo, anndin jeyaaɓe Am ɓen, wonnde ko Min woni Haforanoowo tuubuɗo e maɓɓe, Hinnotooɗo ɓe.
15:50Page 264
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ ٥٠
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.
Anndinaa ɓe wonnde lepte Am ɗen, ko ɗen woni lepte muusuɗe ɗen. Yo ɓe tuubu ɓe ruttoo e Am fii no Mi haforana ɓe, ɓe daɗa lepte Am.
Humpitaa ɓe kadi fii Malaa'ikaaɓe hoɓɓe Annabi Ibraahiima ɓen addannooɓe mo welo-welo ɓiɗɗo gorko e halkeede yimɓe Luuti ɓen.
15:52Page 265
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ ٥٢
When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful [i.e., apprehensive] of you."
Tuma nde ɓe naatunoo ka makko ɓe wi'i: "Salaam (Kisiyee mon)". O jaaɓori ɓe ko ɓuri ɗum moƴƴude, o ɓaɗnani ɓe ngaari juɗaandi ngam ɓe ñaama, sikkugol ko ɓe ɓanndinke. Nde ɓe ronkunoo ñaa-mude, o wi'i: Menen ko men ɗenƴii ɓe on.
15:53Page 265
قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ ٥٣
[The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."
Malaa'ikaaɓe imminaaɓe ɓen wi'i: wata a ɗenƴo, menen men humpitete ko welma: wonnde a heɓay ɓiɗɗo gorko ganndo.
15:54Page 265
قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ ٥٤
He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?"
Annabi Ibraahiima maakani ɓe - nde o ŋalɗi e ko ɓe wewliniri mo kon ɓiɗɗo - : E on wewliniray lam ɓiɗɗo e hoore ko mi nawyi kon mi ronkiti? E ko honɗum wewlinirton mi?
15:55Page 265
قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ ٥٥
They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."
Malaa'ikaaɓe imminaaɓe ɓen wi'ani Ibraahiima: Men wewlinirii ma goonga mo sikke alaa e mu'un. Wata a jeye e taƴiiɓe e ko men wewlinir maa kon.
15:56Page 265
قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٥٦
He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"
Annabi Ibraahiima maaki: Hara no woodi Hara no woodi taƴotooɗo e yurmeende Joomi mun nden, si wanaa ɓen ooñiiɓe e laawol Alla focciingol ngol?
15:57Page 265
قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ ٥٧
[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"
Annabi Ibraahiima maakani ɓe: Ko woni fiiyaku adduɗo mon, onon ɓee imminaaɓe Alla?
15:58Page 265
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ ٥٨
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
Malaa'ikaaɓe imminaaɓe ɓen wi'i: Menen Alla nulu men halkugol tiiɗuɓe bonande, mawnuɓe worodde ɓeen woni yimɓe Luuti ɓen.
15:59Page 265
إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٥٩
Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all
Si wanaa ɓeynguure Luuti nden e gomɗimɓe jokkuɓe mo ɓen, Men daɗnday ɓe fow maɓɓe e halkaare nden.
15:60Page 265
إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ ٦٠
Except his wife." We [i.e., Allāh] decreed that she is of those who remain behind.1
Si wanaa ɓeyngu makko, Men ñaawii on ɗon ko heddotooɗo e halkaare nden.
15:61Page 265
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ ٦١
And when the messengers came to the family of Lot,
Nde Malaa'ikaaɓe imminaaɓe ɓen ardunoo ka ɓeynguure Luuti e mbaadi worɓe.
Annabi Luutu maakani ɓe: Ko on yimɓe ɓe anddaaka.
15:63Page 265
قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ ٦٣
They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,
Malaa'ikaaɓe imminaaɓe ɓen wi'ani Luutu: Wata a hulu. Ko woni, men addane an Luutu, ɗen lepte ɗe ɓe yimɓe maa ɓe sikkitino e lepte halakooje ɓe.
15:64Page 265
وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ ٦٤
And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful.
Men addanii ma goonga ka jillaa gajaate. Pellet ko men goonguɓe e ko men humpitu maa kon.
15:65Page 265
فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ ٦٥
So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded."
Yahdu e ɓeynguure maa nden ka tummbere jemme, iwtiraa ɓaawo maɓɓe; hara gooto e mo'on yeƴƴitoraali ɓaawo ndaarugol ko tllii e mum en, rewon ka Alla yamiri on rewrugol ɗon.
15:66Page 265
وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ ٦٦
And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.
Men anndiniri Luutu ka wahayu, on fiyaaku mo Men ñaawi: wonnde ɓee yimɓe ɗoo, ɓe ɗoofrete ka asli mum en ngam halkudebe siɓe naati ka subaka.
15:67Page 265
وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ٦٧
And the people of the city came rejoicing.1
Yimɓe saare Saduum nden ari hiɓe wewltora hoɓɓe Luutu ɓen, tamƴinagol yanirgol e maɓɓe faahishaaku.
15:68Page 265
قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ ٦٨
[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.
Annabi Luutu maakani ɓe: Ɓee ɗoo yimɓe ko hoɓɓe am, wata on wirtiram ko faalaɗon yanirde e maɓɓe.
Huliree Alla accugol nguu faahishaaku. Wata on hoyniray ɗee kuuɗe mon kaanuɗe.
15:70Page 265
قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٧٠
They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"
Yimɓe makko ɓen wi'ani mo: E men haɗaali ma weernugol gooto e yimɓe ɓen?
15:71Page 266
قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ ٧١
[Lot] said, "These are my daughters1 - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]."
Annabi Luutu maakani ɓe himo ngantinanoo hoore-makko yesso hoɓɓe ɓen: Ɓee ɗoo ko jiwɓe am jeyaaɓe e reseteeɓe mon. Resee ɓe si wonii ko ittugol tuuyu faandiɗon.
15:72Page 266
لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ ٧٢
By your life, [O Muḥammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.
Mi woondirii nguurndam maa an Nulaaɗo, pellet yimɓe Luutu ɓen wonii e bewre tuuyu maɓɓe, hiɓe rutti-ruttinnoo(denngi-denngina).
Sowto haacaango ngon halkiri ɓe ka puɗal naange.
15:74Page 266
فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٧٤
And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.
Men wayliti saare maɓɓe nden, Men waɗtiri dow on ley. Men saaƴini e maɓɓe kaaƴe iwruɗe e loope juɗaaɗe.
15:75Page 266
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ ٧٥
Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.
Wonii e koo ko jantaa e ko yani e yimɓe Luutu ɓen, immorde e halkaare, maandeeji wonnde ɓen taskotooɓe.
15:76Page 266
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ ٧٦
And indeed, they [i.e., those cities] are [situated] on an established road.
Pellet, ca'e yimɓe Luutu ɓen no e laawol tabitngol feƴƴoowo kala e seteeɓe ɓen no yi'a ɗe.
15:77Page 266
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٧٧
Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.
Wonii e ngol peƴƴol, tinndinandewonande goom- ɗimɓe waajitorayɓe ɓen.
15:78Page 266
وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ ٧٨
And the companions of the thicket [i.e., the people of Madyan] were [also] wrongdoers,
Gomɗii yimɓe Su'aybu ɓen yimɓe fitaare fiiltiinde kadi ko tooñunirnooɓe yeddugol Alla fenna Nulaaɗo Makko on Su'aybu (yo o his).
15:79Page 266
فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ٧٩
So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway.
Men yottorii e maɓɓe nanngirgol ɓe lepte. Pellet, ca'e yimɓe Luutu ɓen e koɗanɗe yimɓe Su'aybu ɓen, wonii e laawol ɓanngangol wonande feƴƴoowo.
15:80Page 266
وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٨٠
And certainly did the companions of al-Ḥijr1 [i.e., the Thamūd] deny the messengers.
Gomɗii Samuuda'en fennii, ɓen woni yimɓe aynde Hijiri nden (Hakkunde Hijaz e Saami). Ɓe fenniri Nulaaɓe ɓen fow fennugol Annabiijo maɓɓe on Saalih (yo o his).
15:81Page 266
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ ٨١
And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.
Men addani ɓe hujjaaji e maandeeji goonginɗi mo e ko o addi kon immorde ka Joomi makko, wano ngelooba mban, kono ɓe ronki waajitorde.
15:82Page 266
وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ ٨٢
And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.
Hari hiɓe taƴiraynoo pelle ɗen fii mahugol cuuɗi ka ɓe hoɗira daɗugol ko ɓe huli.
Haacaango lepte ngon nanngiri ɓe ka subaka.
15:84Page 266
فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ٨٤
So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.
Kon ko ɓe laatinoo hiɓe faggitoo immorde e jawle e koɗanɗe, fow nafaano ɓe e duñugol lepte Alla ɗen.
15:85Page 266
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةٞۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ ٨٥
And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.
Men tagiraali kammuuli ɗin e leydi ndin, e ko woni hakkunde majji kon meere nde aldaa e ñeeñal. Men tagiraali ɗin fow si wanaa e goonga. Pellet, darngal ngal ko arayngal feere mun alaa. An Nulaaɗo, ɗuurno fennooɓe ma ɓen, yaaforano-ɗaa ɓe yaafagol labaangol.
15:86Page 266
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٨٦
Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.
Tabitii ko Joomi maa an Nulaaɗo, woni Taguɗo kala huunde, Annduɗo ɗum.
15:87Page 266
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ ٨٧
And We have certainly given you, [O Muḥammad], seven of the often repeated [verses]1 and the great Qur’ān.
Gomɗii Men okkii ma Faatiha ngol Aayeeje jeeɗiɗi, ko ngol woni fii Alqur'aana mawnde nden.
15:88Page 266
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٨٨
Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of them [i.e., the disbelievers], and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing [i.e., show kindness] to the believers.
Wata a naɓir gite maa ɗen e nooneeji ɗi Men dakmiri heeferɓe ɓen sabu ko gasooji, wata a suno e ko ɓe fennata kon, yankinano gomɗimɓe ɓen.
15:89Page 266
وَقُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ ٨٩
And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" -
Maaku an Nulaaɗo: Min ko mi jertinoowo e lepte, ɓannguɗo jertinaango.
15:90Page 266
كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ ٩٠
Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators1
Miɗo jertinira on nde heɓata on sugu ko Alla jippinnoo e ɓen senndirɓe defete Alla ɓen pecce-pecce, ɓe gomɗina yoga ɓe yedda yoga.
Ɓen waɗuɓe Alqur'aanaare nden geɓe-geɓe, ɓe wi'i nde jilli mbilewu maa daari maa gimɗi.
15:92Page 267
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٩٢
So by your Lord, We will surely question them all
Mi woondirii Joomi maa an Nulaaɗo, Ma Men lanndoyo denndaangal ɓen waɗuɓe Alqur'aana geɓe-geɓe Ñalnde Darngal.
Ma Men lanndoyo ɓe fii ko wonunoo e huuwude, immorde e keeferaaku e yaddugol ka aduna.
15:94Page 267
فَٱصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ٩٤
Then declare what you are commanded1 and turn away from the polytheists.2
Feññin, an Nuaaɗo, ko Alla yamir-maa feññingol ko noddugol e Makko, wata a yeƴƴito e ko sirkooɓe ɓen wowlata huuwa.
15:95Page 267
إِنَّا كَفَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِينَ ٩٥
Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers
Wata a ɗenƴo ɓe. Menen Men heediii ma e pewje jalkitooɓe jeyaaɓe e ardiiɓe heeferɓe Qurayshi ɓen.
15:96Page 267
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٩٦
Who make [equal] with Allāh another deity. But they are going to know.
Ɓen waɗtidooɓe e Alla reweteeɗo goo. Aray ka ɓe annda wattannde bone sirku maɓɓe on.
15:97Page 267
وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ٩٧
And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say.
Gomɗii Meɗen anndi, wonnde an Nulaaɗo, fonndo maa ngon hino ɓiɗtora ko ɓe fennata maa ɓe jalkite kon.
15:98Page 267
فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ ٩٨
So exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him].
Faɓtor(moolo) ka Joomi maa laɓɓinirgol Mo ko O haandaani, mantiraa Mo sifaaji kamal, laato-daa e rewooɓe Mo ɓen juulannoo ɓe Mo. Ko e ɗum lekki ɓiɗtagol fonndo maa woni.
15:99Page 267
وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ ٩٩
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty [i.e., death].
Duumo-ɗaa e rewugol Joomi maa fotde hiɗa wuuri haa maayde nden tawe e ɗum.
