إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ١
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.
Ciertamente, comencé la revelación del Corán al cielo más cercano al mundo como a Mujámmad r, en la Noche de la Predestinación durante el mes de Ramadán.
97:2Page 598
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
¡Profeta! ¿Sabes qué bondad y bendiciones hay en esta noche?
97:3Page 598
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ ٣
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
Esta noche es una noche de gran bondad; adorar a Al-lah durante ella es mejor que hacerlo durante mil meses, si se tiene fe y se anhela su recompensa.
97:4Page 598
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ ٤
The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.1
Los ángeles y Gabriel u descienden durante esta noche con el permiso de su Señor, trayendo cada asunto que Al-lah ha ordenado que suceda ese año, ya sea sustento, nacimientos, decesos y otros asuntos del decreto.
Toda esta noche bendita contiene bondad, desde el principio hasta el final, cuando llega la aurora.
