إِذَا جَآءَ نَصۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡفَتۡحُ ١
When the victory of Allāh has come and the conquest,1
﴿نَصۡرُ ٱللَّهِ﴾: النَّصْرُ عَلى كُفّارِ قُرَيشٍ.
﴿وَٱلۡفَتۡحُ﴾: وتَمَّ لَكَ فَتْحُ «مَكَّةَ».

وَرَأَيۡتَ ٱلنَّاسَ يَدۡخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ ٱللَّهِ أَفۡوَاجٗا ٢
And you see the people entering into the religion of Allāh in multitudes,
﴿أَفۡوَاجࣰا﴾: جماعات جَماعاتٍ.

فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابَۢا ٣
Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of Repentance.1
﴿فَسَبِّحۡ﴾: فنزِّهْ رَبَّكَ.
﴿بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ﴾: مُتلَبِّسًا بِحَمْدِ رَبّكَ.
