Al-Mu'minun
The Believers · Meccan · 118 ayahs
Aquellos que creyeron en Al-lah y actuaron conforme a Sus leyes han alcanzado el éxito, ya que obtuvieron sus anhelos y fueron protegidos de aquello que temían.
23:2Page 342
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ ٢
They who are during their prayer humbly intent
Los que fueron humildes en su oración, sus extremidades permanecieron en calma durante este tiempo y sus corazones libres de distracciones.
Los que se apartaron de la falsedad y la frivolidad, principalmente de las acciones banales y de las palabras pecaminosas.
Los que por medio del pago del zakat no solo purificaron sus riquezas, sino que además se purificaron a sí mismos.
Los que preservaron sus partes privadas de la fornicación, y se mantuvieron puros y castos.
23:6Page 342
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ ٦
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess,1 for indeed, they will not be blamed -
Solo mantuvieron intimidad con su esposa o lo que posee su diestra, ya que no tienen culpa si se complacen sexualmente con ella.
23:7Page 342
فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ ٧
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -
Pero quien busque placer fuera de su esposa, transgrede los límites de Al-lah, ya que incurre en lo que Al-lah ha prohibido, fuera de Sus leyes.
23:8Page 342
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ ٨
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
Por el contrario, quienes cumplen con las responsabilidades que Al-lah o Sus siervos les han confiado, y no las descuidan ni traicionan, son responsables en cumplir sus acuerdos.
23:9Page 342
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَٰتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ ٩
And they who carefully maintain their prayers -
Aquellos que cumplen con las oraciones prescritas, las realizan con puntualidad en los horarios determinados, cumpliendo con sus pilares, obligaciones y recomendaciones.
Los que poseen estas virtudes son los verdaderos herederos.
23:11Page 342
ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسَ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ١١
Who will inherit al-Firdaus.1 They will abide therein eternally.
Heredarán el nivel más alto del paraíso, donde vivirán por toda la eternidad, y cuyas bondades no tendrán fin.
23:12Page 342
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن سُلَٰلَةٖ مِّن طِينٖ ١٢
And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.
Ciertamente, creé al padre de la humanidad, Adán, de barro. Una mezcla de tierra pura con agua.
23:13Page 342
ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ نُطۡفَةٗ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٖ ١٣
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop1 in a firm lodging [i.e., the womb].
Después, hice que procreara por medio de una gota de esperma que se preserva en el útero hasta el nacimiento.
23:14Page 342
ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةٗ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَٰمٗا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَٰمَ لَحۡمٗا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ ١٤
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allāh, the best of creators.1
Entonces transformé la gota de esperma en un embrión, que luego transformé en una masa de tejidos, y luego aparecen los huesos. Después cubrí esos huesos con carne y finalmente hice surgir una creación completamente diferente al insuflar un alma en su interior y darle vida. ¡Alabado sea Al-lah, el mejor de los creadores!
¡Gente! Después de haber pasado por todas estas etapas, morirán cuando sus vidas expiren.
23:16Page 342
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ تُبۡعَثُونَ ١٦
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
Luego, después de su muerte, serán resucitados de sus tumbas en el Día del Juicio para que rindan cuentas de sus obras.
23:17Page 342
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَآئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَٰفِلِينَ ١٧
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.
¡Gente! En verdad, creé siete cielos por encima de ustedes, uno sobre el otro. Nunca descuido Mi creación, tampoco Me olvido de ella.
23:18Page 343
وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَسۡكَنَّٰهُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَٰدِرُونَ ١٨
And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.
Envié la lluvia de los cielos según las necesidades, no en cantidades excesivas que podrían causar daños, ni tan poca que resultara insuficiente. Permito que se asiente en la tierra para que las personas y los animales puedan beneficiarse de ella. Sin embargo, también puedo hacer que desaparezca, en cuyo caso no podrían beneficiarse de ella.
23:19Page 343
فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ لَّكُمۡ فِيهَا فَوَٰكِهُ كَثِيرَةٞ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ١٩
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
Con ella creé jardines de palmeras, vides y otros árboles, de los que obtienen frutos de diferentes colores y apariencias, tales como higos, granadas y manzanas, y con los cuales se alimentan.
23:20Page 343
وَشَجَرَةٗ تَخۡرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيۡنَآءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهۡنِ وَصِبۡغٖ لِّلۡأٓكِلِينَ ٢٠
And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food [i.e., olives] for those who eat.
Con ella también creé el olivo, que crece en la tierra del Monte Sinaí. De sus frutos se extrae el aceite que utilizan y consumen.
23:21Page 343
وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةٗۖ نُّسۡقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ كَثِيرَةٞ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٢١
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.
¡Gente! Indudablemente, hay una lección que aprender en el ganado de rebaño (camellos, vacas y ovejas) que les permite reflexionar acerca del poder de Al-lah y Su bondad. Les sacian la sed con leche pura y sabrosa de sus ubres. También se obtienen otros beneficios de ellos, como el transporte, la lana, el pelaje, las pieles, además de consumir su carne.
23:22Page 343
وَعَلَيۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ ٢٢
And upon them and on ships you are carried.
Ustedes son transportados sobre camellos por la tierra y sobre barcos por el mar.
23:23Page 343
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ٢٣
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Ciertamente, envié a Noé u a su pueblo para llamarlos al monoteísmo. Él les dijo: “¡Pueblo mío! Adoren solamente a Al-lah; no tienen otra deidad verdadera sino Él, que Él sea glorificado. ¿Es que no obedecerán Sus órdenes y se alejarán de Sus prohibiciones por temor a Él?
23:24Page 343
فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِيٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ٢٤
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allāh had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
Pero los nobles y los líderes de su pueblo que no creyeron en Al-lah, les dijeron a sus seguidores y a las masas: “Este hombre que dice ser un mensajero es solo un mortal como ustedes, él solo busca liderar y gobernar sobre ustedes. Si Al-lah quisiera enviarles un mensajero, habría enviado a un ángel, no a un ser humano. ¡Nunca hemos oído algo como lo que él dice de nuestros antecesores!
23:25Page 343
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلُۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةٞ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ ٢٥
He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time."
Solo se trata de un demente. No entiende lo que él mismo dice. Esperen y verán que pronto su verdadera realidad se hará evidente ante la gente.
23:26Page 343
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ ٢٦
[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Noé u dijo: “¡Oh, mi Señor! ¡Ayúdame contra ellos y retribúyelos por su rechazo y provocación!
23:27Page 343
فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ أَنِ ٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَا وَوَحۡيِنَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسۡلُكۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلّٖ زَوۡجَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَا تُخَٰطِبۡنِي فِي ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ ٢٧
So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows,1 put into it [i.e., the ship] from each [creature] two mates and your family, except him for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
Entonces le revelé: Construye un arca bajo Mi supervisión y dirección. Luego, cuando dé Mi orden de destruirlos y el agua brote del lugar donde se hornea el pan, toma un macho y una hembra de cada especie viva y haz que suban al arca, para que puedan procrear y no se extingan. También embarca a tu familia, excepto aquellos condenados por el decreto de destrucción de Al-lah, como tu esposa y tu hijo. No me pidas que salve y no destruya a los que han pecado por su incredulidad, sin duda morirán ahogados en las aguas del diluvio.
23:28Page 344
فَإِذَا ٱسۡتَوَيۡتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ فَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٢٨
And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allāh who has saved us from the wrongdoing people.'
Cuando hayas subido al barco junto con los creyentes que alcanzaron la salvación, di: “Toda alabanza es para Al-lah, Quien nos salvó del pueblo incrédulo y lo destruyó”.
23:29Page 344
وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلۡنِي مُنزَلٗا مُّبَارَكٗا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِينَ ٢٩
And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].'"
Y di: “¡Mi Señor! Hazme desembarcar en un lugar bendito, porque Tú eres el que mejor puede hacerme desembarcar”.
23:30Page 344
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبۡتَلِينَ ٣٠
Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants].
Ciertamente, en la salvación de Noé u junto con los creyentes que estaban con él, y la destrucción de los incrédulos, hay grandes signos de Mi capacidad para socorrer a Mis mensajeros y destruir a sus desmentidores. Puse a prueba al pueblo de Noé cuando lo envié, para que los creyentes y los incrédulos, los obedientes y los pecadores, se diferenciaran.
23:31Page 344
ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ ٣١
Then We produced after them a generation of others.
Después de haber destruido el pueblo de Noé creé una nueva generación, que eran los ‘Ad, el pueblo de Hud u.
23:32Page 344
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ٣٢
And We sent among them a messenger1 from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Les envié un mensajero, Hud, quien les dijo: “¡Pueblo mío! Adoren solo a Al-lah, no existe otra deidad verdadera excepto Él, que Él sea glorificado. ¿Es que no obedecerán Sus órdenes ni se alejarán de Sus prohibiciones por temor a Él?
23:33Page 344
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَآءِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَتۡرَفۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يَأۡكُلُ مِمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ مِنۡهُ وَيَشۡرَبُ مِمَّا تَشۡرَبُونَ ٣٣
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.
Los nobles y los líderes de su pueblo que no creyeron en Al-lah, desmintieron el Más Allá, así como el castigo y la recompensa que recibirían allí, y se dejaron engañar por las bendiciones materiales que les había concedido. Le dijeron a sus seguidores y masas: “Este es un mortal igual que ustedes: come del alimento que comen y bebe de lo que beben. ¡Él no es superior a ustedes, por lo tanto, no puede haber sido enviado como mensajero!”
23:34Page 344
وَلَئِنۡ أَطَعۡتُم بَشَرٗا مِّثۡلَكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ ٣٤
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
“Si siguen a un ser humano como ustedes, ciertamente han sido engañados ya que han abandonado a sus deidades por seguir a alguien que no tiene mayor virtud que ustedes”.
23:35Page 344
أَيَعِدُكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ إِذَا مِتُّمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخۡرَجُونَ ٣٥
Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?
“¿Este hombre que dice ser un mensajero les promete que cuando mueran y se conviertan en polvo y huesos descompuestos, saldrán de sus tumbas con vida? ¿Es posible concebir algo así?”
23:36Page 344
۞ هَيۡهَاتَ هَيۡهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ ٣٦
How far, how far, is that which you are promised.1
Esta promesa que les hizo acerca de que saldrían de sus tumbas con vida después de haber muerto y haberse convertido en polvo y en huesos descompuestos, está muy lejos de la realidad.
23:37Page 344
إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِينَ ٣٧
It [i.e., life] is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
La única vida es la mundanal, no existe el Más Allá. Los que viven entre nosotros mueren y no son resucitados. No seremos resucitados después de la muerte para rendir cuentas en el Día del Juicio.
23:38Page 344
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَهُۥ بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٣٨
He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allāh, and we will not believe him."
Hud no ha hecho más que inventar una mentira acerca de Al-lah al afirmar que él es un mensajero; no le vamos a creer.
23:39Page 344
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ ٣٩
He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Hud dijo: “¡Mi Señor! ¡Ayúdame contra ellos y retribúyeles por su rechazo y provocación!”
23:40Page 344
قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيلٖ لَّيُصۡبِحُنَّ نَٰدِمِينَ ٤٠
[Allāh] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful."
Al-lah le respondió: “Muy pronto, estas personas que han desmentido el mensaje que les has traído se arrepentirán de ello”.
23:41Page 344
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ غُثَآءٗۚ فَبُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٤١
So the shriek1 seized them in truth,2 and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.
Entonces un estruendo, acompañado por un fuerte viento, los tomó por sorpresa, como castigo por su obstinación. Los destruí, y los dejé como la espuma que arrastra el torrente. ¡Ay de la nación transgresora!
23:42Page 344
ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قُرُونًا ءَاخَرِينَ ٤٢
Then We produced after them other generations.
Luego, después de destruirlos, creé otros pueblos y naciones, como las naciones de Lot, Shuaib y Jonás.
23:43Page 345
مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ ٤٣
No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].
Ninguna de estas naciones de desmentidores adelantará el tiempo fijado para su destrucción, ni lo retrasará, sin importar los medios que tenga a su disposición.
23:44Page 345
ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتۡرَاۖ كُلَّ مَا جَآءَ أُمَّةٗ رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُۖ فَأَتۡبَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُم بَعۡضٗا وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَحَادِيثَۚ فَبُعۡدٗا لِّقَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٤٤
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations.1 So away with a people who do not believe.
Luego envié a Mis mensajeros, uno tras otro. Cada vez que el Mensajero llegaba a la nación a la que era enviado, lo desmentían, por lo que los destruía sucesivamente, sin dejar nada excepto los relatos de las personas que los observaron. ¡Que la destrucción sea para las naciones que no creen en el mensaje de los Profetas!
23:45Page 345
ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَأَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ ٤٥
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority1
Luego envié a Moisés y a su hermano Aarón con nueve de Mis signos: la vara, la mano, las langostas, los piojos, las ranas, la sangre, las inundaciones, la sequía y la escasez de frutos, y con pruebas claras.
23:46Page 345
إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمًا عَالِينَ ٤٦
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
. Los envié al Faraón y a los nobles de su pueblo, pero mostraron arrogancia y no creyeron en ellos. Era gente que se imponía al pueblo por medio de la represión y la opresión.
23:47Page 345
فَقَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لِبَشَرَيۡنِ مِثۡلِنَا وَقَوۡمُهُمَا لَنَا عَٰبِدُونَ ٤٧
They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?"
Entonces dijeron: “¿Deberíamos creer en dos mortales como nosotros, que no tienen superioridad sobre nosotros y cuyo pueblo (los hijos de Israel) es sumiso y obediente a nosotros?”
23:48Page 345
فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡلَكِينَ ٤٨
So they denied them and were of those destroyed.
Así desmintieron cada mensaje que les llegó de Al-lah, y debido a su rechazo, murieron ahogados.
23:49Page 345
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ ٤٩
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they1 would be guided.
En verdad, le di a Moisés la Torá con la esperanza de que su pueblo fuera guiado a la verdad a través de ella e implementara sus enseñanzas.
23:50Page 345
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥٓ ءَايَةٗ وَءَاوَيۡنَٰهُمَآ إِلَىٰ رَبۡوَةٖ ذَاتِ قَرَارٖ وَمَعِينٖ ٥٠
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.
También hice de Jesús y su madre María signos milagrosos para mostrar Mi poder; ella lo concibió sin padre. Les concedí refugio en un terreno elevado, un lugar de paz y habitable con aguas frescas.
23:51Page 345
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ كُلُواْ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَٱعۡمَلُواْ صَٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ عَلِيمٞ ٥١
[Allāh said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Knowing.
¡Mensajeros! Coman de la comida apetecible que he hecho lícita para ustedes y realicen buenas acciones de acuerdo con las leyes de Al-lah. Conozco cada una de sus acciones, ninguna de ellas está oculta de Mí.
23:52Page 345
وَإِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱتَّقُونِ ٥٢
And indeed this, your religion, is one religion,1 and I am your Lord, so fear Me."
¡Mensajeros! Ciertamente, su credo es uno solo: es el Islam. Y Yo soy su Señor, no tienen otro Señor fuera de Mí, por lo tanto, cumplan Mis mandamientos y aléjense de Mis prohibiciones por temor a Mí.
23:53Page 345
فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَهُمۡ زُبُرٗاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ ٥٣
But they [i.e., the people] divided their religion among them into portions [i.e., sects] - each faction, in what it has,1 rejoicing.
Después de que dejaron este mundo, sus seguidores dividieron la religión y se convirtieron en sectas y grupos, Y cada grupo presumió que su creencia era la religión verdadera aceptada por Al-lah, sin tener en cuenta otros puntos de vista.
23:54Page 345
فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ ٥٤
So leave them in their confusion for a time.
Mensajero, déjalos en la ignorancia y la confusión en la que están, hasta que el castigo descienda sobre ellos.
23:55Page 345
أَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِۦ مِن مَّالٖ وَبَنِينَ ٥٥
Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children
¿Piensan estos grupos presumidos que la riqueza y los hijos que les concedí en el mundo son un indicio del bien que merecen?
23:56Page 345
نُسَارِعُ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِۚ بَل لَّا يَشۡعُرُونَ ٥٦
Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.1
No es como piensan; solo les doy un respiro, para llevarlos gradualmente a la destrucción, pero no se dan cuenta.
23:57Page 345
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ خَشۡيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ ٥٧
Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord
Ciertamente aquellos creer y obran correctamente temen a su Señor.
23:58Page 345
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٥٨
And they who believe in the signs of their Lord
Y aquellos que creen en los signos y milagros de su Señor.
23:59Page 345
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ لَا يُشۡرِكُونَ ٥٩
And they who do not associate anything with their Lord
Y aquellos que proclaman la unicidad de su Señor, sin atribuirle ningún copartícipe.
23:60Page 346
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡتُونَ مَآ ءَاتَواْ وَّقُلُوبُهُمۡ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ رَٰجِعُونَ ٦٠
And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful1 because they will be returning to their Lord -
Los que se esfuerzan por realizar acciones justas y acercarse a Al-lah por medio de ellas, y aun así temen que Él no acepte lo que gastan por Su causa, o sus buenas acciones, cuando comparezcan ante Él en el Día del Juicio.
23:61Page 346
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سَٰبِقُونَ ٦١
It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
Aquellos que poseen estas nobles características se apresuran hacia las buenas obras y tratan de adelantarse a los demás.
23:62Page 346
وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ وَلَدَيۡنَا كِتَٰبٞ يَنطِقُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ ٦٢
And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.
No cargo a ningún alma sino con acciones que estén dentro de sus capacidades. Tengo un libro en el que he registrado todas las obras de cada ser; muestra una verdad indiscutible. Las personas no sufrirán ningún tipo de injusticia, por lo que sus obras buenas no se verán disminuidas ni sus obras malas incrementadas.
23:63Page 346
بَلۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلٞ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمۡ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ ٦٣
But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides that [i.e., disbelief] which they are doing,
En cambio, los corazones de los incrédulos hacen caso omiso de este libro que contiene la verdad, y del libro que les fue revelado. Cometen, además de la incredulidad, otras injusticias.
23:64Page 346
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيهِم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمۡ يَجۡـَٔرُونَ ٦٤
Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment,1 at once they are crying [to Allāh] for help.
Hasta que castigue a los que vivieron en los lujos de este mundo en el Día del Juicio, entonces gritarán pidiendo ayuda.
23:65Page 346
لَا تَجۡـَٔرُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَا تُنصَرُونَ ٦٥
Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped.
Se les dirá, privándolos de toda esperanza de la misericordia de Al-lah: “¡No griten ni pidan ayuda hoy! No hay quien pueda socorrerlos del castigo de Al-lah.
23:66Page 346
قَدۡ كَانَتۡ ءَايَٰتِي تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡقَٰبِكُمۡ تَنكِصُونَ ٦٦
My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels
Ciertamente, las aleyas de Al-lah les eran recitadas en el mundo, pero al oírlas se alejaban con desprecio.
23:67Page 346
مُسۡتَكۡبِرِينَ بِهِۦ سَٰمِرٗا تَهۡجُرُونَ ٦٧
In arrogance regarding it,1 conversing by night, speaking evil.
Así demostraban su arrogancia, porque creían ser la gente del santuario de La Meca cuando en realidad no lo eran; la verdadera gente del santuario son los piadosos. Así mismo, por las noches, se dedicaban a desprestigiar el Corán, negando su carácter sagrado.
23:68Page 346
أَفَلَمۡ يَدَّبَّرُواْ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ أَمۡ جَآءَهُم مَّا لَمۡ يَأۡتِ ءَابَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ٦٨
Then have they not reflected over the word [i.e., the Qur’ān], or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers?
¿No reflexionarán estos idólatras sobre el Corán que Al-lah ha revelado a fin de tener fe en él e implementar sus enseñanzas? ¿O es que les ha llegado algo que no llegó a sus antepasados, por lo que se apartaron de él y lo rechazaron?
23:69Page 346
أَمۡ لَمۡ يَعۡرِفُواْ رَسُولَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ ٦٩
Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging?
¿O es que no reconocen a Mujámmad r a quien Al-lah les ha enviado, y por eso lo rechazan? Ciertamente, reconocen su veracidad y su honestidad.
23:70Page 346
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۚ بَلۡ جَآءَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ ٧٠
Or do they say, "In him is madness"? Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse.
¿O es que dicen: “es un demente”? Sin duda son mentirosos. Por el contrario, indiscutiblemente les ha llegado la verdad de Al-lah. A la mayoría de ellos les disgusta la verdad, y la detestan por causa de sus celos y del fanatismo por la falsedad.
23:71Page 346
وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّۚ بَلۡ أَتَيۡنَٰهُم بِذِكۡرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِهِم مُّعۡرِضُونَ ٧١
But if the Truth [i.e., Allāh] had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message,1 but they, from their message, are turning away.
Si Al-lah dejara que la verdad siguiera y se ordenara conforme a sus deseos, los cielos, la Tierra y todos sus habitantes caerían en la ruina, ya que ignorarían las consecuencias, y porque no serían capaces de diferenciar entre lo beneficioso y lo perjudicial.
23:72Page 346
أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ خَرۡجٗا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيۡرٞۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ ٧٢
Or do you, [O Muḥammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers.
Mensajero, ¿acaso les has pedido una remuneración por transmitirles el mensaje, por lo que rechazan tu llamado? No has hecho tal cosa, la recompensa de tu Señor es mucho mejor que la recompensa que cualquiera de estas personas pueda dar. Al-lah es el mejor de los proveedores.
23:73Page 346
وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٧٣
And indeed, you invite them to a straight path.
Mensajero, en verdad, los invitas hacia un camino recto que no tiene desviación: es el camino del Islam.
23:74Page 346
وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ لَنَٰكِبُونَ ٧٤
But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path.
Ciertamente aquellos que no creen en el Más Allá, la rendición de cuentas, el castigo y la recompensa, se inclinan hacia otros caminos que conducen al infierno.
23:75Page 347
۞ وَلَوۡ رَحِمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَكَشَفۡنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرّٖ لَّلَجُّواْ فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ ٧٥
And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
Si tuviera misericordia de ellos y los librara los males que sufren, persistirían confundidos en su extravío de la verdad.
23:76Page 347
وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُواْ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ٧٦
And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus]
Los probé por medio de diferentes aflicciones, pero no se entregaron a su Señor ni se sometieron a Él, tampoco Le suplicaron para que Él los librara de las aflicciones cuando éstas sobrevinieron.
23:77Page 347
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا ذَا عَذَابٖ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمۡ فِيهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ ٧٧
Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair.
Hasta que abrí una puerta de castigo severo sobre ellos, y entonces perdieron toda esperanza de paz y bienestar.
23:78Page 347
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ٧٨
And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful.
¡Desmentidores de la resurrección!, Al-lah es Quien les dio el oído para oír, la visión para ver y los corazones para reflexionar, pero a pesar de eso, poco Le agradecen por estos favores.
23:79Page 347
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ ٧٩
And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.
¡Gente!, Él es Quien los creó en la Tierra, y solo ante Él serán reunidos para rendir cuentas y ser recompensados en el Día del Juicio.
23:80Page 347
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ ٱخۡتِلَٰفُ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ٨٠
And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?
Y solo Él es Quien da la vida; no existe nadie que pueda dar vida además de Él. Y solo Él es Quien da la muerte; no existe nadie que pueda dar muerte además de Él. Solo a Él Le compete establecer la diferencia entre la noche y el día, por medio de las tinieblas y la luz, con sus periodos cortos y prolongados. ¿Es que no comprenden Su poder y que solo Él puede crear y administrar?
23:81Page 347
بَلۡ قَالُواْ مِثۡلَ مَا قَالَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ ٨١
Rather,1 they say like what the former peoples said.
Pero ellos repitieron lo que sus padres y antecesores dijeron con incredulidad.
23:82Page 347
قَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ ٨٢
They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
Dijeron con incredulidad y negación: “Cuando muramos y nos convirtamos en polvo y huesos, ¿seremos resucitados para rendir cuentas?
23:83Page 347
لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ٨٣
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples."
Ya se nos había prometido la resurrección después de la muerte, y también a nuestros antecesores, pero no vimos cumplida esta promesa. Son solo las mismas falsas historias y mentiras de los pueblos antiguos”.
23:84Page 347
قُل لِّمَنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِيهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٨٤
Say, [O Muḥammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?"
Mensajero, di a estos incrédulos que desmienten la resurrección: “¿A quién pertenece esta tierra y los que viven en ella, si es que tienen conocimiento?”
23:85Page 347
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٨٥
They will say, "To Allāh." Say, "Then will you not remember?"
Responderán: “La tierra y todo lo que hay en ella pertenece a Al-lah”, entonces diles: “¿No recuerdan que el Único a Quien pertenece la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella tiene el poder de devolverlos a la vida después de que hayan muerto?
23:86Page 347
قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلسَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ٨٦
Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?"
Diles: “¿Quién es el Señor de los siete cielos y quién es el Señor del Gran Trono, después del cual no hay creación más grande?”
23:87Page 347
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ٨٧
They will say, "[They belong] to Allāh." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?"
Ellos responderán: “Los siete cielos y el Gran Trono son propiedad de Al-lah”, entonces diles: ¿Aun así no obedecerán Sus órdenes y se alejarán de Sus prohibiciones por temor a Él, a fin de que sean librados de Su castigo?
23:88Page 347
قُلۡ مَنۢ بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيۡهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٨٨
Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"
Pregúntales: “¿Quién es el Único en Cuya mano se encuentra el dominio de todas las cosas, sin que nada escape a Su autoridad? ¿Quién es el que socorre a quien Él desea de Sus siervos, sin que nadie pueda proteger de Su castigo a aquel al que Él ha decidido castigar, si es que tienen algún conocimiento?”
23:89Page 347
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسۡحَرُونَ ٨٩
They will say, "[All belongs] to Allāh." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"
Ellos dirán: “En las manos de Al-lah está el dominio de todas las cosas”, entonces diles: “¿Cómo es que pierden los sentidos y adoran a otros además de Él?”
23:90Page 348
بَلۡ أَتَيۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ ٩٠
Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.
No es como ellos afirman. Por el contrario, les he traído la verdad en la que no hay duda. Mienten cuando atribuyen un copartícipe y un hijo a Al-lah. Al-lah está por encima de lo que dicen.
23:91Page 348
مَا ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٖ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُۥ مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍۚ إِذٗا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَٰهِۭ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ٩١
Allāh has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have [sought to] overcome others. Exalted is Allāh above what they describe [concerning Him].
Al-lah no ha tomado hijo como dicen los incrédulos, ni existe otra deidad verdadera junto a Él. Si hubiera otra deidad verdadera junto a Él, cada deidad tomaría la parte de la creación que hizo y lucharían por el dominio entre sí, y en consecuencia harían que el orden del Universo se corrompiera. La realidad es que nada de esto ha ocurrido, lo que demuestra que Al-lah es la única deidad verdadera. Él es puro y santo, y está por encima de lo que Le atribuyen los idólatras.
23:92Page 348
عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ ٩٢
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him].
Él es el conocedor de todo lo oculto de Su creación y conocedor de todo lo manifiesto y perceptible a través de los sentidos. Nada de esto está oculto de Él. Al-lah está por encima de tener un copartícipe.
23:93Page 348
قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ ٩٣
Say, [O Muḥammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,
Mensajero, di: “Señor, si me muestras el castigo que Tú prometiste para estos idólatras
23:94Page 348
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِي فِي ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٩٤
My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people."
no me hagas estar entre ellos y ser afligido con el castigo que les aflige”.
23:95Page 348
وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمۡ لَقَٰدِرُونَ ٩٥
And indeed, We are Able to show you what We have promised them.
Tengo el poder para hacer que seas testigo y que veas el castigo que les he prometido. No existe nada que Yo no pueda hacer.
23:96Page 348
ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَۚ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ ٩٦
Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.
Mensajero, responde al que te hace mal con una mejor conducta, es decir, aléjate de él y sé paciente ante su maltrato. Sé bien acerca de los copartícipes que Me atribuyen y de su rechazo, y de las descripciones que te atribuyen, como la magia y la demencia, que son impropias de ti.
23:97Page 348
وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزَٰتِ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ ٩٧
And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils,
Di: “Señor, busco protección en Ti de las insinuaciones perversas de los demonios y de sus susurros.
