تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ ١
May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.1
愿先知（愿主福安之）的叔父，艾卜•莱海卜•本•阿卜杜勒•穆台列卜的双手因他自己的恶行而受伤！当时他迫害先知（愿主福安之）而未得逞。

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ ٢
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
无论是他的钱财还是子嗣都无济于他，都不能替他阻挡惩罚，也不能为他唤来怜悯。
复活日他将进入那有着火焰的火狱，

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ ٤
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.1
他那曾在路上抛掷棘刺伤害先知（愿主福安之）的妻子乌姆·杰米莱也将进入火狱。
她的脖子上系有一条拽她到火狱的致命的绳子。
